Portfolio Inspired by Landscape

In this portfolio, I gathered paintings inspired by fleeting memories of past experiences communing with nature. The images offer an immediate sensory experience, encompassing atmospheric conditions and the play of natural light. These paintings frequently begin with actual experiences in nature, which I then explore as I paint, and the shapes, forms, and colors change in the process.

I think you will notice that I am keenly interested in “in-between places and states”, the changing of seasons, the movement of water, the effects of weather on light, and how light is modulated in the morning and evening. Because of these interests, the paintings transcend representation and evoke a temporal location. 

Many of these works are smaller, which is perfect for those who want a smaller original because their available space is limited or they have a smaller budget for an original painting.
