BREATHE EXHALE

$6,050.00

Size in inches: 48 x 60"

Size in cm: 121.9 x 152.4 cm Price: $6,050.00 "Breathe/Exhale" (48 x 60") from the Breathing Series captures the release—that essential letting go when breath flows out from the body, carrying with it what no longer serves, making space for what comes next.

Working with oil glazing over acrylic underpainting, I built up flowing passages of coral, peach, and orange that spread outward from a central axis, interwoven with purples and greens. Unlike the inward rush of "Breathe/Energy" or the vertical emphasis of "Breathe/Air," this horizontal painting embodies expansion, dispersal, release. The warm colors suggest the heat of exhaled breath, the carbon dioxide and moisture we give back to the world with every out-breath.

Exhalation is often overlooked—we focus on taking in, rarely on letting go. Yet exhale is where tension releases, where we empty ourselves to make room for renewal. This painting honors that essential release, showing breath not trapped or held but flowing freely outward, spreading, dissipating, returning to the atmosphere from which it came.

The large horizontal format emphasizes the spreading, expansive quality of release itself.

Professional-grade oil on canvas. Edges painted, ready to hang. Signed on back. Certificate included.
