In this portfolio I gathered paintings that have been inspired by fleeting memories of past experience communing with nature.

Many Of these works are smaller perfect for those who want a smaller original because they have a smaller space available or a smaller budget for an original painting.  Although I am influenced by traditional landscape painters ( Constable, Corot, George Ennis, Turner) I am also influence by abstract expressionism .  These paintings frequently begin with actual experiences in nature, I then explore as I paint and the shapes, forms and colors change in the process. I think you will notice that I am keenly interested in “in between places and states”, the changing of seasons, the movement of water, the effects of weather on light and the way light is modulated in the morning and evening.
